Binondo, Manila, Philippines

Established in the 1590s by the Spanish governor for Catholic Chinese, this is the oldest Chinatown in the world. The Umbrella Alley here is famous for its street food, and a visit to historical sites like the Binondo Church, the Seng Guan Temple (pictured) and the Kuang Kong Temple, will simply uplift your spirits.
