He went 10th overall in the 1942 NFL Draft to the Chicago Bears, but he didn't debut in the league until 1946 because of WWII. Albert never played for the Bears, but he was the first starting quarterback in the history of the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the 49ers from 1946-52 and made the Pro Bowl in the team's first NFL season in 1950.Here is a picture of Albert as head coach of the 49ers in 1956.
