The third of Audi’s Prologue concept cars will debut at the Shanghai auto show, and it’s just as stunning as the first two. Called the Audi Prologue Allroad concept, this five-door concept is essentially a raised version of the Audi Prologue Avant with a slightly more rugged, SUV-like look.

As such, it shares its front-end look with the other Prologues, and incorporates the Singleframe grille design, laser matrix headlights, and a wide, dramatic rear end with a connected strip of LED taillights. In typical Allroad fashion, this concept is 3 inches higher than the Prologue Avant, and also features some extra body cladding around the fenders.

The elegant, nearly button-free interior carries over from the other two Prologue concepts, with the sleek dashboard integrating various screens and displays, all of which are controlled by touches and gestures. The rear features two individual seats, both of which have their own touchscreen displays for adjusting the seats, climate control, and audio settings.

Quattro all-wheel drive puts the power down to the road, and the concept is said to get from 0-62 mph in 3.5 seconds while achieving the equivalent of 97 mpg. The electric-only range is estimated at 33 miles, and Audi says this concept’s battery pack can be charged inductively with the company’s new wireless charging system.

This third iteration on the Audi Prologue concept series will make its official debut at the Shanghai auto show next week. Until then, take a look at the Audi Prologue Allroad concept in the photos below.
