Someone Please Save This Poor FD Mazda RX-7

The FD-generation Mazda RX-7, like many Japanese sports cars from the Nineties, has seen an explosion in value in recent years. Cheap examples in any condition are getting tough to find, which is why we think this one list for $10,000 on Facebook Marketplace right now is worth saving.

This silver 1993 FD has clearly lived a tough life. The body has paint flaking off, bondo's peeking out under the chipped paint, and the hood sports a series of dents. The rear is covered in grime, evidence the car has been sitting for a while. Inside is a mash of different parts and loose wiring—the seat and steering wheel are pretty nice, though.  a car parked in a parking lot: It's listed on Facebook Marketplace right now. © BillRobin Dorney - Facebook It's listed on Facebook Marketplace right now.

Under the hood is a similar story, with more suspicious wiring, mis-matched air filters, and some... interesting intercooler piping. Still, it's a complete stick-shift FD with its engine included, so it's certainly worth something.

We've reached out to the seller to get some information on the car, like if it runs or turns over, and will update this article if we hear back. Considering running manual FDs regularly sell for around $30,000, ten grand isn't too insane of a price for this one (if the engine doesn't need any major work, that is). Find it here on Facebook Marketplace in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
