In 1917 Ford released the Model TT, a dedicated truck with heavy duty construction. Jumping forward to 1948 would see the first F-Series models launched, with Ford creating a new chassis specifically for truck use. A one-piece windshield, integrated headlights, and even optional windshield washers made it considerably advanced for the time.
