Research

Ford is marketing the Transit Connect Wagon to Baby Boomers and entrepreneurs who want space, versatility, and technology “without the expensive minivan price tag.” The TC Wagon has space for up to seven passengers, which Ford says is perfect for small business needs, hobbies, and grandkids. Automatic emergency braking is standard, a feature that includes pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection.

The TC Wagon is available with a 1.5-liter EcoBlue diesel engine or 2.0-liter four-cyl gasoline engine. Both are paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Inside the wagon there is a 6.5-inch floating touchscreen with standard embedded 4G LTE modem. The Transit Connect Wagon will go on sale this fall, with pricing details to come.
