SRT has been expanding the 2014 Viper’s color palette in recent months, and this one might be the most garish yet. At the Detroit auto show, SRT announced the addition of Stryker Green to the Viper lineup, a color intended as an evolution of the past Snakeskin Green, which blended green and yellow for a “liquid mercury” look.

The new color will roll out this February and will be offered on the Viper GTS and the Viper equipped with the new Grand Touring (GT) package, which adds Nappa leather seats. The GT package also includes the five-mode Electronic Stability Control and two-mode Bilstein DampTronic Select suspension.

Stryker Green will join other special colors recently offered for the Viper. Competition Blue, for example, is a striking shade of blue that got its name from a contest involving fan submissions on Facebook. The winner of that contest beat out about 11,000 entrants and won a trip to the 2014 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona race. SRT also unveiled the ultra-exclusive Anodized Carbon color with a production run of just 50 units. Aside from the special paint shades, other colors include Adrenaline Red, Billet Silver Metallic Clear Coat, Gunmetal Pearl, Race Yellow Clear Coat, Black Venom, and Viper White Clear Coat. Finally, TA Orange is reserved for the Viper TA special edition car.
