Wandering through the aisles of cars ready to be sold at the Palm Beach Barrett-Jackson collector car auction, one inevitably rubs shoulders with some of the fortunate bidders who have the spare cash in their pocket to purchase a car off the auction block. After a couple days at the event, we started to wonder what kind of cars the people in attendance might be driving to the grounds, so we went to the parking lot outside to find out for ourselves. A quick look revealed your basic assortment of SUVs and sedans that wouldn't even come close to turning your head, but a closer look unearthed the rare and valuable cars you might expect along with a sprinkling of rather odd vehicles as well.

The Range Rovers, BMW sedans, and all the Mercedes are a given at any high end event like this, but with the cars inside regularly selling in the six figure range we weren't at all surprised to see quite a few supercars and top of the line luxury vehicles in the lot as well. There were more Rolls Royces than you'd see in Beverly Hills, Ferraris in every color of the rainbow, and even a few Lamborghini's scattered about. Additionally there was a virtual treasure trove of Corvettes, several hot rods and classics, an interesting creation called a VWEEP, and more than a few "Bro-dozers." So take a look through this gallery and see the weird, wacky, and wonderful vehicles that the attendees of the auction brought out with them.

More details on the event can be found at the Barrett-Jackson website, and be sure to tune into the live streams from the show available at MotorTrend.com.
