The McLaren 765LT might be marketed as a track car meant to conquer corners, but with a 755-horsepower twin-turbo V-8 and a quick-shifting dual-clutch transmission, it's able to lay down some jaw-dropping straight-line numbers as well. Mat Watson of Carwow on YouTube found that out first-hand when he tested the car for a recent video, where it managed to sprint from zero to 150 mph in less than 10 seconds.

Even with the car's launch control active, it struggles for grip off the line at Silverstone's Hangar straight, where Watson conducted the test. That didn't stop it from putting up an absurd 2.8-second 0-60 time and an equally impressive 5.1-second 0-100 time. For some context, that last number matches the 0-100 time put up by the company's P1 hypercar.

Of course, the speed isn't the only impressive thing about the 765LT. Thanks to a host of track-focused upgrades over the 720S, such as better brakes, a stiffer suspension, and a whole lot of carbon fiber, it's that much better to drive, according to Watson.

It won't be long until we get our hands on a 765LT of our own. We can't wait to see what it can do first-hand.
