Twenty-five years ago, the very first Lexus model was built. To mark the occasion, the brand is celebrating with … a new luxury minicar?

Created at Lexus’ European design studio, the urban 2+2 model is quirky, but it also debuts a new interpretation of the Lexus spindle grille and a variety of interior design themes.

The grille receives a more three-dimensional form with angular lines that catch the light. The rear, which incorporates narrow taillights, features a similar shape to the front grille. And as is appropriate for a 25th anniversary, the model shown features a Stellar Silver exterior finish with black accents on the door and rear panels.

Lexus LF SA Concept Interior Driver Seat© Provided by MotorTrend Lexus LF SA Concept Interior Driver Seat Lexus made an effort to build a driver-focused cockpit, complete with an adjustable steering wheel and pedals rather than an adjustable driver seat. A sweeping dashboard design, a hologram-style digital display, and a wide-angle head-up display finish the cabin's high-tech design. The two seats in the back, however, look like a tight squeeze.

As much as we hate to say it, the concept reminds us a bit of the slow-selling Scion iQ. The LF-SA is slightly longer, measuring 134 inches compared to the iQ's 120 inch body. But both models are just as wide, at a bit more than 66 inches. The car's overall height is estimated at 56.3 inches, which would make it even lower than the iQ.

But we do know the model is debuting alongside the GS F sedan and LF-C2 roadster concept, which both are making their first European appearances at the Geneva show.
