The 2015 Acura RDX is fresh on dealer lots, and it gets a slight price increase even though it didn't receive any updates for the new model year. The popular selling crossover starts at $35,790 including destination, representing a $375 increase over the 2014 model.

Standard features on the 2015 RDX base model include leather seats, heated front seats, power moonroof, Pandora streaming radio, SMS text messaging function, hands-free keyless entry, push-button start, and a multi-angle rearview camera. Those seeking a fully-loaded 2015 RDX need only opt for the Technology Package, which throws in Acura Link Satellite, navigation, real-time traffic, dual-zone automatic climate control, a premium sound system, power tailgate, and projector beam headlights. This package adds $3700 to the base price for a total of $39,490 for front-wheel-drive models. Those who want all-weather capability will have to spend the extra $1400 for all-wheel drive. All RDXs are powered by a 3.5-liter V-6 engine that makes 273 hp and 251 lb-ft of torque, and come paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel-drive models achieve 20/28 mpg city/highway, while those with all-wheel drive drop it down 1 mpg in the city and on the highway. MotorTrend Image© Provided by MotorTrend MotorTrend Image

The RDX has received very minimal updates since its major refresh in 2013, when it was completely revised from head to toe with a new look and a boatload of new standard features. The last time we tested the 2013 RDX, we said it was a "surprisingly fun car to drive" and praised the improvements made to the center stack. We also had the 2013 RDX in our long-term fleet and said, "Compared with its competitive set ( Infiniti QX50, Lexus RX, BMW X3), the RDX offers the best value, best fuel efficiency, and most standard equipment."
