2015 Cadillac CTS Updated With More Tech, Wreathless Crest

We named the 2014 Cadillac CTS the 2014 Motor Trend Car of the Year because it was an overall excellent package, but the automaker says it's even better for the 2015 model year thanks to a number of revisions.

New onboard technology make up the bulk of the car's changes, including an available wireless charging dock spot. Text message alerts can now be received through the CUE infotainment system, while passengers can access Wi-Fi thanks to a standard built-in hotspot that comes with a three-month trial. The available automatic parking assist is more convenient for 2015 thanks to the addition of a perpendicular parking function, while the driver awareness package adds lane keep assist and lane change alert. Other than that, the CTS is mostly unchanged from the 2014 model. From the front, it looks slightly different since the front grille has been revised with the new wreathless Cadillac crest. The 2015 Cadillac CTS is also offered in three new exterior paint colors and revised interior color and trim combinations. Nothing changes underneath the hood, meaning the 2015 CTS is still available with either a 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4, naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V-6, or a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V-6 in the CTS Vsport. While the I-4 is matched to a six-speed automatic, the V-6 is paired with an eight-speed automatic.
