We have clocked just about 7,000 miles on our Tahoe LT, and it was requested for a long trip out of state, so we got it in for its scheduled 7,500-mile service a little early. An oil change, tire rotation, and multipoint inspection were all that's required. This was a complimentary service, but it would normally cost right around $50.

We also asked the dealer to fix the wonky nav, which had us in Santa Maria a few months ago when we were actually in Pasadena but now has us about 100 miles off the coast of Tijuana. After hours of trying various system resets, we were told we needed a new OnStar module, which of course had to be ordered.

We also asked them to mount our license plates. (The front needs to be drilled.) Alas, they couldn't do it; they had no mounting brackets in stock, so those too would need to be ordered. Once the Tahoe gets back from its adventure, we'll get it back to the dealer, unfortunately, to finish what was started.
