2015 Chevrolet Tahoe Priced Starting at $45,890, Suburban at $48,590

General Motors has upped the price a bit for the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban. The 2015 Tahoe LS, for example, is priced at $45,890, while the 2015 Suburban LS is set at $48,590, with both prices including the $995 destination fee.

That represents a $1295 jump over the outgoing 2014 Tahoe and Suburban LS. Price jumps for the mid-range LT and top-of-the-line LTZ models vary quite a bit, ranging from $2370 for a Tahoe LT to $3300 for a Suburban LTZ. Four-wheel drive can be had for an additional $3000 on all trim levels.

In LS trim the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe comes standard with a rear backup camera, rear parking assist, and Bluetooth connectivity. A Driver Alert Package is priced at $595 and includes power-adjustable pedals, a lane departure warning system, and forward collision alert.

Next up is the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe LT and 2015 Suburban LT model, which costs $50,995 and $53,695, respectively. Additions to the LT model include leather seats, an 8.0-inch touchscreen, MyLink infotainment system, Bose premium sound, and everything in the aforementioned Driver Alert package. Priced at $2705, a Luxury Package adds keyless entry with push-button start, heated second-row seats, power folding mirrors, power-adjustable and heated steering wheel, front parking assist, blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert, and a color-keyed trailer hitch. A Sun, Entertainment, and Destinations Package costs $3255 ($3305 in the Suburban) and adds navigation, rear entertainment system, sunroof, and nine months of satellite radio and traffic service.

Finally, the LTZ trim is set at $59,995 for the Tahoe and $62,695 for the Suburban. Here, the LTZ adds HID headlights, LED daytime running lamps, passive keyless entry, cooled front seats, power-release second- and third-row seats, and the safety features included in the aforementioned Luxury Package. LTZ models are also offered with the LT’s Sun, Entertainment, and Destinations Package for the same price.

Both the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban are powered by GM’s new EcoTec3 5.3-liter V-8 rated at 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque, which is mated to a six-speed automatic. Rear-drive models have been EPA-rated at16/23 mpg city/highway. Meanwhile, the four-wheel-drive Tahoe is rated 16/22 mpg, while the four-wheel-drive Suburban returns one mile less in the city.
