The automaker chose these states based on their demand for EVs and current infrastructure, with Georgia boasting at least 284 charging stations to date.

The 2015 Soul EV has a base price of $34,500 and is eligible for the federal tax rebate of $7500 and any other applicable state incentives. Customers can also opt for a 36-month lease deal that requires $1999 up front and a monthly payment of $249.

Powered by a 109-hp electric motor, the 2015 Soul EV has an EPA-rated 93 miles of range. During our testing, the Soul EV needed 9.2 seconds to go from 0-60 mph, while completing the quarter mile required 17.0 seconds. Charging the 27-kWh lithium-ion polymer battery requires 4-5 hours when using a Level 2 charger.
