The 2015 Lexus RC F will be here before we know it, but before it starts arriving on dealer lots, the automaker needs some help first. Lexus posted a photo of a bright orange RC F on its Facebook page asking viewers their thoughts on what to name the new paint color.

Although we're used to seeing older IS Fs gleam in Ultrasonic Blue, this orange color is unlike anything else we've seen on the automaker's color palette (save for the orange LFA Nürburgring edition ). It only makes sense the brand new sexy coupe gets a unique paint color - the only problem is, Lexus doesn't know what to call it. Judging from the photo on Facebook, it appears to be a metallic orange color, which contrasts nicely with the enlarged black spindle grille and metallic gray wheels. The RC F looks incredibly attractive from the outside, but things get even better underneath its skin. The RC F will be powered by the tried-and-true naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V-8 that's both more efficient and powerful. The 2015 RC F's V-8 will produce around 450 hp, with power being routed to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic.

This isn't necessarily a contest, so don’t expect to find keys to a new RC F in the mail if Lexus chooses your name color. However, if you're bored and would like bragging rights, head over to the automaker's Facebook page. Several people have already shared their ideas for names including Tangerine Flame, Solar Flare, Orange Crush, and Perihelion Orange. Others got even more creative, naming the color Gazania Pearl after an orange flower. Don't like any of these? Head over Lexus' Facebook page to put your two cents in.
