The 2015 Toyota Avalon will sport more features when it arrives in dealerships later this month, and now the automaker has announced pricing details on the near-luxury model. The flagship sedan gets a slight price increase of $695 for the new model year, starting at $32,980 including destination. Along with a handful of added goodies, the Avalon also gets a new XLE Touring Sport Edition that steps it up in the styling department.

The new XLE Touring Sport Edition is available on a limited basis of 2500 units, and visually enhances the appearance of the Avalon with exclusive Attitude Black exterior paint and 18-inch black-painted wheels to match. Touring Sport Edition badges decorate the exterior, as well as standard HID headlights and LED daytime running lights. Inside, the Avalon boasts perforated leather seats with dark blue stitching. Other additions include power, heated front seats, unique floor mats, and aluminum door sills. The Touring Sport Edition starts at $37,995.

Previously only available on higher trim levels, paddle shifters can now be found inside all Avalons, including the entry-level XLE priced at $32,980 and the XLE Premium that starts at $34,965. All models also get the updated Entune audio system, but the Touring, which costs $36,905, adds a blind spot monitoring and rear-cross traffic alert system. The top-trim Limited features the most amenities and passes the $40,000-mark by $805. No matter the trim level, all models are powered by a 3.5-liter V-6 that makes 268 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque, matched to a six-speed automatic transmission. The V-6 is rated at 21/31 mpg city/highway. But if those numbers don't look good enough, the Avalon is also available as a hybrid, which boosts fuel economy numbers to 40/39 mpg.

The Avalon Hybrid is only offered in XLE Premium ($37,295), XLE Touring ($38,625), and Limited ($42,525) trim levels. The Avalon hybrid benefits from a 2.5-liter Atkinson cycle four-cylinder and electric motor that together make 200 hp. Hybrid models also received the changes mentioned above.

Look for the 2015 Toyota Avalon to start arriving in showrooms in the next couple weeks.
