The 2016 Hyundai Tucson goes on sale later this month starting at $23,595, or $1,220 more than the previous model.

Hyundai's revamped small crossover is available in four trim levels: SE, Eco, Sport, and Limited. Base SE models come standard with a 164-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. All other models receive a brand new 175-hp 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch.

The Eco trim starts at $25,045. The Sport model, which adds sporty cues and enhanced driving dynamics, is priced at $27,045. As the top-dog model, the Limited trim adds leather seats and other premium features for those willing to spend $30,795. Adding all-wheel drive to any trim level in the lineup costs about $1,400 depending on the model.

The 2016 Hyundai Tucson has been completely redesigned from the previous model, which debuted over five years ago. It is slightly longer and wider than the outgoing version, and features plenty of new content. The 2016 Tucson receives a larger grille, wider headlights, and sculpted body lines. Inside, look for more soft-touch materials, more refined switchgear, and an available full-length panoramic sunroof. Fuel economy has also improved, topping out at 26/33 mpg city/highway on the Eco model when paired with front-wheel drive.
