2018 Toyota Mirai

Motor Trend logo Motor Trend 4/7/2017 Motor Trend Staff

Vehicle Summary

The Toyota Mirai is one of the first hydrogen fuel cell vehicles to be mass-produced. In terms of size, the front-drive Mirai is roughly the same size as a Camry. However, unlike most midsize sedans, the Mirai only seats four. On a full tank of hydrogen, the Mirai can travel an EPA-rated 312 miles.

Don't expect much to change for the 2018 Toyota Mirai, which for 2017 comes as a single loaded package featuring everything from adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency brakingto the newest version of the Entune infotainment system with navigation and an app suite (we'll update this space as soon as we have official info). The car's controversial exterior styling will likely not receive any tweaks until a mid-cycle refresh that could happen sometime between 2019 and 2020, but don't expect it to look any less polarizing.
