While the original Nissan Juke-R was an experiment in engineering by U.K.-based motorsports tuner RML and Nissan, its popularity resulted in a limited production run for the wealthy. After teasing a higher-spec Juke-R, which Nissan referred to as a Nismo mode l earlier this month, the Japanese automaker has just revealed the Nissan Juke-R 2.0 concept at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the U.K.

Starting with the refreshed Nissan Juke, the concept is powered by the Nissan GT-R Nismo ’s 600-hp twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V-6 engine mated to a six-speed dual-clutch transmission and Nissan’s ATTESA all-wheel-drive system.

In addition to the revised V-motion grille and new LED running lights, turn signals and LED taillights, and front fenders from the standard car ’s refresh, the Nissan Juke-R 2.0 also receives a new carbon fiber front bumper with larger openings for increased cooling as well as a carbon fiber rear bumper with an exposed carbon fiber diffuser with revised exhaust outlets.

The rear hatch spoiler is now a one-piece design constructed of exposed carbon fiber. Additionally, the front and rear wheel arches and lower side sills are made from carbon fiber. Finally, the stock Nissan Juke hood features exposed carbon fiber heat extractor vents. The Nissan Juke-R 2.0 concept is finished in matte black paint with the latest Nissan GT-R alloy wheels also finished in matte black. Inside, the Juke-R 2.0 gains a new black headliner.

During all three days of Goodwood, the new Nissan Juke-R 2.0 concept will participate in the hill climb with LMP1 driver and GT Academy winner Jann Mardenborough behind the wheel. When not participating in the hill climb, the Juke-R 2.0 concept will be display in the Supercar Paddock.
