Most of us can only dream of owning an exotic sports car. But it's hard to imagine anyone could dream up some of the crazy options available on a number of these models. But wouldn't it be great if you can afford to plunk down a fortune on an ornament that you could carry in one hand? Owners have just that option: upgrading the traditional Rolls-Royce bonnet ornament to a gold-plated version for a cool $9,100.

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta - $10,439 golf bag, $13,651 trunk luggage set

Perhaps we can envision buyers opting for the expensive golf bag or trunk luggage set as a novelty item, but the most ridiculous option on the car is a $3,533 package that offers carbon-fiber trim -- on just the cup holders. No words.

Lamborghini Aventador - $12,820 interior carbon-fiber package

For the full carbon-fiber treatment, buyers will have to spend $12,820. If that's not enough, try adding an exterior carbon-fiber package for the front of the car for $6,190.

But many buyers are thinking ahead by opting for $740 stylish sun visors swathed in leather. Hey, sometimes it's all about the details.

Bentley Flying Spur - $15,675 carbon-ceramic brakes with red painted calipers

2015 Bentley Flying Spur V8© Provided by MotorTrend 2015 Bentley Flying Spur V8 Carbon-ceramic brakes are great for their stopping power, durability, and resistance to heat and corrosion. But would we spend almost $16,000 for them and some fancy brake calipers? When you have a Bentley that costs more than $200,000, the answer is yes.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class - $1,100 refrigerator for rear cabin

2015 Mercedes Benz S550© Provided by MotorTrend 2015 Mercedes Benz S550 Mercedes S-Class buyers have the option to add a small refrigerator that opens into the rear cabin. Judging from its size, it can fit a few bottles of champagne along with some small snacks. When it's in the way, the box tucks away neatly between the rear seatbacks. Of course for this same price, buyers can invest in an actual refrigerator, but where's the fun in that?

Ferrari 458 Italia - $908 colored safety belts, $809 "handy" fire extinguisher

For additional safety, drivers can invest in an $800 fire extinguisher or hard-to-forget $908 safety belts in the color of the driver's request. Additional options include $1,323 rear parking sensors and $1,100 cruise control/speed limiter.

This is the most expensive option on the $150,000 coupe. A few other options available on this model include a $5,000 low-gloss matte gray or a $3,000 Super silver metallic paint job.

Rolls-Royce Phantom - $20,425 drinks cabinet in rear doors, $14,100 rear theater seats

One of the most extravagant options on the Phantom is a drinks cabinet that looks like a miniature bar. Tack on another $14,000, and the back seat is even more comfortable with rear "theater" seats that give passengers additional room to stretch out.

Rolls-Royce Phantom Droptop - $19,700 brushed steel package and teak decking

While not as extreme as that $63,000 liquid metal paint job on the 918 Spyder, the Bentley Continental GT offers a few expensive paint jobs of its own. Among the many options are matte satin paints, metallic paints, and pearlescent paints.

Porsche 911 - $1,720 painted air-vent slats
