Las Vegas and Elvis Presley are inseparable, which is why Barrett-Jackson is bringing out two cars with ties to the King for its Vegas auction in a few weeks. Headlining the sale will be Presley's personal 1967 Cadillac Coupe de Ville and the '63 Chevrolet Corvette he drove in 1964's "Viva Las Vegas."

The King's 1967 Cadillac Coupe de Ville, otherwise known as the "Honeymoon Cadillac," is a red two-door Caddy bought by Elvis on September 15, 1967. The car shuttled Presley and his wife Priscilla around Memphis after the two were married. The Cadillac previously belonged to the Mike L. Moon collection, and has been displayed at Elvis museums in Tennessee, Pigeon Forge, and Niagara Falls, Canada. The car comes with a copy of the original Bill of Sale and title, along with the Protect-O-Plate that lists Elvis as the owner and Graceland as the address. Also included in the sale are newspaper clippings and a copy of the book Hurry Home, Elvis, both of which mention the Cadillac. 1967 Cadillac Coupe deVille owned by Elvis© Provided by MotorTrend 1967 Cadillac Coupe deVille owned by Elvis

The 1963 Chevrolet Corvette "split window" coupe that appeared on screen in "Viva Las Vegas" was rented by MGM for the film's climactic racing scene. In the film, the car spins out and damages its rear end. That damage has since been repaired, and Barrett-Jackson says there was no damage to the frame of fiberglass bodywork. In 2011, the car was restored to such a high degree that it qualified for a National Corvette Restorers Society American Heritage Award.

Another star car at the Las Vegas sale will be Johnny Cash's 1970 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow. The car was originally purchased for Cash by ABC Television as a gift, ordered with his initials emblazoned in gold on the rear doors. The Rolls was sold between 1985 and 1986, and has been in private hands ever since. 1970 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Owned By Johnny Cash Side View© Provided by MotorTrend 1970 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Owned By Johnny Cash Side View
