First Impression

I traded a very clean 09 LE AWD Murano for this 2015 Platinum version. So the older Murano is the benchmark here. First impressions are that the vehicle has better acceleration due to the improved CVT transmission, is quieter on the road, much nicer interior and more cargo space, does not handle as well, but not by much. Love all the new electronic safety stuff, like lane change warning & overview monitoring to name a few. The looks are certainly more exciting, but that is subjective. Reliability is unknown. Will update review in a month. Final word: there are a many mid size SUV's out there, and this Nissan may suit your needs better than others based on the features you find important.

Favorite Feature : Electron safety features like lane change traffic warnings and overhead camera view. Large and clear nav and control screen. Comfortable seats. Cargo area folds to a flat floor. (Great for our German shepherd dog). Lots of driver leg room

Suggested Improvement : Paddle shifters please, cannot select HOME when in NAV while moving. (Now that is dumb!) No audio back up obstacle warning (that I have found).

Average Rating : 4.125
