The 85th Geneva International Motor Show is in the books and what a show it was; over 10,000 media traveled from around the globe to cover 220 different exhibitors displaying over 900 vehicles. Is it possible to pick THE Best in Show with a field this large and diverse? No, but we certainly tried.

Bentley Exp 10 Speed 6 Concept

Geneva 2015: Motor Trend Editors Pick Their Best of Show

It may come with a slightly silly name, but the Bentley EXP10 Speed 6 Concept is a beautiful machine that is easily one of Geneva's show stoppers. The perfectly proportioned coupe may have "concept" in its name but it looks production ready at almost every level and would be the fifth Bentley in the lineup. From the handcrafted interior covered in leather to its upward swinging doors, the EXP 10 Speed 6 gives us a look into Bentley's future and that certainly looks bright. – Scott Burgess

Sweden’s answer to the Porsche 918 Spyder is the technical director’s choice for best of show. The Koenigsegg Regera has the 918 outmuscled with 5.0 liters’ worth of twin-turbocharged V-8 producing 1100 hp. Then there are three electric motors—one connected to the engine and one to each rear wheel—spinning up another 697 ponies. All in, peak output to the road is 1,500 hp. There’s so much power that you don’t need a transmission—just one reduction gear with a hydraulic coupling gets the job done. There’s so much power that wheelspin is a concern even at 170 mph! A 9 kW-hr battery provides about 20 miles of silent running, the lift-off roof stows in the front trunk, and the Regera is way better looking than Koenigsegg’s other supercars, owing mostly to its 10.5-inch stretch in the overhangs, primarily in the rear. – Frank Markus

In Geneva, there were many supercars with more horsepower and exotic carbon-fiber hardware, but a certain Audi flagship impressed me most with its handsome evolutionary styling, 100-plus-lb weight drop, and brawny 610-hp V-10. If that weren't enough, there’s an electric version that can hit 60 in under 4 seconds and travel nearly 300 miles on a full charge. – Ron Kiino

Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman

It’s not the size that got me, but don’t get me wrong – 21.3 feet of overall length (14.5-feet of that between the wheels) and 5 feet and 2 inches of height make this an impressively enormous presence oozing down the road. It’s not the quilted-leather womb-for-four cabin that got me either, though I’m tickled by the idea of two couples facing each other in what are, essentially, mobile, German, La-Z-Boys. Instead, it’s what the Pullman means. Previous iterations of this super limousine were the choice for dictators and heads-of-state around the world. Forget weekend getaways to the Hamptons; you don’t do that in this vehicle. For the better part of 50 years, the Pullman was the vehicle that met foreign entourages on airport tarmacs and whisked them away to summit meetings on nuclear arms reduction. That’s who the new Mercedes-Maybach Pullman will be for: heavy hitters, tenth-of-one-percenters, moguls, and movers-and-shakers of the highest order. – Ed Loh
