GMC is exploring the other side of its bling-tastic Denali line with the new 2015 GMC Sierra Elevation Edition. This new model is GMC’s go at the sport pickup truck segment and will be arriving in dealership by the end of this year.

The 2015 Sierra Elevation Edition starts life as a double-cab Sierra 1500 pickup and receives a long list of visual upgrades to help it stand out from the Sierra lineup. Aiming for a monochromatic look, the Sierra Elevation Edition gets color-matched trim pieces including the grille surround, door handles, front and rear bumpers, and mirror caps. LED accents and 20-inch rims painted black finish off the sporty look.System.Xml.XmlElement© Provided by MotorTrend System.Xml.XmlElement

Available in rear- or four-wheel drive, the GMC Sierra Elevation Edition comes standard with the 4.3-liter, EcoTec V-6 making 285 hp and 305 lb-ft of torque. Folks wanting more power can opt for the 355-hp 5.3-liter EcoTec V-8.

Standard creature comforts include remote keyless entry, Bluetooth connectivity, and 4.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and Wi-Fi hotspot capability. Pricing has yet to be announced, but we don’t expect it too cost much more than a base Sierra 1500 double cab, which starts at $31,825.
