If you've ever wanted to be James Bond, here's your chance -- assuming you're the size of a G.I. Joe doll. In honor of the 50th anniversary of "Goldfinger," a one-off gold-plated Aston Martin DB5 will be sold for charity.

Research

The special Goldfinger Aston Martin DB5 is a 1/3 scale replica of James Bond 's 1964 car, and it comes with 24-carat gold-plated detailing. Thanks to a company called Propshop, the car also includes radio-controlled machine guns, a bullet-proof shield, and a revolving license plate. But this isn't a surprise considering the original DB9 prototype that appeared in the movie was equipped with 300 pounds of weaponry. The Goldfinger model is expected to sell in the range of $66,000 and $100,000. Bidding starts September 8 and ends on September 17, the exact date when "Goldfinger" was first released. All proceeds from the sale benefit the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.

In addition to the Goldfinger DB5 replica, a unique Goldfinger Seamaster Aqua Terra wristwatch by Omega in 18k yellow gold is also up for auction. Other Bond items on sale include a first edition Goldfinger book by Ian Fleming ($1600-$3300), an original cinema poster with the golden girl ($3300-$5000), and a special edition of Taschen's The James Bond Archives signed by Daniel Craig ($3300-$5000).
