The Hyundai Santa Fe family receives a new suspension, enhanced steering, and additional standard features for the 2015 model year. Despite all the changes, the lineup starts at just $25,825 for the Santa Fe Sport, or just $200 more than the outgoing Sport model. The six- or seven-passenger Santa Fe begins at $31,025, or $250 more than last year's version. Prices include an $875 destination charge.

Hyundai revised the electric power steering system on both the Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport for improved feel. This change includes an updated Sport driving mode that allows for firmer handling. Another key performance enhancement is a stiffer suspension compared to the 2014 model.

New standard features on the entire 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe lineup include daytime running lights, driver blind spot mirror, and an auto up/down front passenger power window. Taking a page from Ford's book, Hyundai is now also offering a hands-free liftgate that allows drivers to open the trunk when their hands are full. Two new colors -- Sparkling Silver and Platinum Graphite -- have been added, and the Sport model receives a two-tone grille.

Like last year, the 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport receives power from either a 190-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine or a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder good for 264 horses. The larger Santa Fe carries over its same 3.3-liter V-6 engine with 290 hp. All powertrains are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The 2015 Santa Fe lineup is arriving in dealerships now.
