As it prepares to restart selling cars in the U.S., Lotus Cars USA announced today that it will add four more dealers to its network here, and that it will relocate its headquarters from Georgia to Ann Arbor, Mich. Lotus Engineering already has an office in Ann Arbor, which will be shared with the new Lotus Cars operation.

Lotus Cars USA is opening two new dealerships in California, one in Arizona, and another in Alberta, Canada, bringing the total number of locations to 47. The company says its move from Georgia to Michigan will be completed by the end of July, and that combining Lotus Cars and Engineering operations will give the former more space, and also will allow for "improved efficiency" by allowing the two groups to share more resources.

The Lotus Evora 400, revealed at the Geneva auto show earlier this year, packs a supercharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine rated at 400 hp and 302 lb-ft of torque, giving it a claimed 0-to-60-mph time of 4.1 seconds. The 2017 Lotus Evora 400 will start at $89,900 when it goes on sale here this December.
