Love my Genesis, but have two (minor) issues logo 5/31/2015 genesisnewbie

I bought the 3.8 with the Signature and Tech packages, plus AWD, since I'll be driving in snowy mountains in the winter.I've had it for 3 months now, and absolutely love it. I'm amazed at how much value the Genesis offers. Unless you really need superior "racing" performance, it can go toe-to-toe with BWM, Audi, Mercedes, Lexus, etc., but for $10K-$12K less. I wouldn't say those brands are in trouble, but they are definitely under attack.

Favorite Feature : Lots of great features, but I especially love being able to start my Genesis and turn on the A/C remotely with a Smart App on my phone. I do that as I'm leaving my office and the car is cool by the time I get to it in 10 minutes or so.

Suggested Improvement : I do, however, have two small issues with the Genesis. 1) The 3.8 model does not come with Fog Lights, despite offering AWD. It seems reasonable to me that if I selected AWD, I expect to drive in hazardous weather at times, so Fog Lights would be helpful as well. In a car that's packed with every gadget, driver aid and safety feature you can imagine, Fog Lights should be a given.2) An even more puzzling omission concerns the trunk. The "hands-free" feature to open the trunk when your hands are full of shopping bags, for example, can be very helpful. But there is no "hands-free" way to CLOSE the trunk when you arrive home with those very same bags. That makes no sense at all.
