We still have a while before the 2015 Frankfurt motor show, but it’s already being reported that the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe and C63 AMG Coupe will be making their debut there. The new coupe should definitely give us an eyeful when it’s finally revealed, considering it’s said to have an even more beautiful design than the stunningly gorgeous S-Class Coupe.

At least that’s what the coupe’s chief designer told Autocar, saying that it will be even better to drive than it looks. Although we haven’t gotten a good look at the new coupe, we can expect it to look a lot like the S-Class Coupe (pictured at right) since the C-Class sedan takes after the bigger S-Class sedan. Similar design cues we can expect to see on the new model include a more sharply raked windshield, low greenhouse, stretched roofline, and high beltline. Other design cues we can expect to make it onto the C-Class Coupe are the S-Class Coupe’s contoured character lines and elongated rear. The interior may boast an entirely different look though, with a full-width infotainment screen that connects with the gauge cluster similar to the S-Class. Engines will reportedly be cherry-picked from the current C-Class lineup, which in the U.S. offers a 241-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four; a 329-hp 3.0-liter turbocharged V-6. Unlike the first-gen C-Class Coupe, rumor has it that the second-gen will spawn a soft-top convertible version.2015 Mercedes Benz S Class Coupe Rear Side View On Track© Provided by MotorTrend 2015 Mercedes Benz S Class Coupe Rear Side View On Track

While we’re highly anticipating the arrival of the two-door C-Class, we’re even more anxious for the C63 AMG Coupe, which AMG boss Tobias Moers calls a “breakthrough.” Not much else was said about the potent C63 Coupe, which will likely be powered by the C63 sedan’s twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 that makes 469 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque in the standard version and 503 hp in the C63 S.
