A couple weeks ago Toyota announced the changes it was making to the 2015 Scion FR-S, and today it's Subaru's turn. The 2015 Subaru BRZ receives suspension tweaks, visual modifications, and some new interior trim, all for a base price of $26,490, including destination. Additionally, the BRZ is getting a new STI-inspired limited edition, dubbed the Subaru BRZ Series.Blue.

The headline act for the 2015 Subaru BRZ is the new Series.Blue limited edition model. Available in WR Blue Pearl or Crystal White Pearl (ahem), the BRZ Series.Blue looks to hold enthusiasts over until an actual BRZ STI is produced. The 2015 Subaru BRZ Series.Blue features STI front, side, and side-rear under spoilers, which the automaker says reduces drag from 0.28 Cd to 0.27 Cd. The BRZ Series.Blue also gets black STI-branded 17-inch wheels, red brake calipers, and blue leather seat bolsters inside. All 1000 BRZ Series.Blue models (500 in blue and another 500 in white) come exclusively with a manual transmission.

While many have been asking for more power out of the BRZ's 200 hp 2.0-liter F-4, Subaru decided to upgrade the BRZ's suspension for the 2015 model year instead. Like the FR-S' suspension updates, the BRZ's new suspension is designed to make the car absorb bumps and ruts better than before. Other changes for the BRZ include larger-diameter exhaust tips, a roof-mounted shark fin radio antenna, and a faux carbon fiber dashboard.

Pricing for the 2015 Subaru BRZ doesn't change much from the previous model year. The manual-only base 2015 BRZ Premium goes for $26,490, while the loaded BRZ Limited goes for $28,490 with a six-speed manual, or $29,590 with a six-speed automatic. The new 2015 BRZ Series.Blue goes for $30,285.

The 2015 Subaru BRZ will begin hitting dealerships nationwide this summer.
