Nissan e-NV200 VIP Concept Features Executive-Worthy Interior

VIPs are usually shuttled around in limos, town cars, and fancy SUVs, but Nissan is looking to change that. The Japanese automaker has revealed a tricked out e-NV200 concept that's been tailored to appeal to the elite with a super luxurious interior and other premium appointments.

An exclusive two-tone metallic blue exterior paint job makes this e-NV200 stand apart from the standard electrified van, and inside, seats are swathed in white leather with blue accents. Although the e-NV200 is already spacious, designers played with the interior color combinations to make the cabin feel more open and luxurious. By putting in black trim and carpets, and a white headliner, window surrounds, and pillar covers, designers helped create an airy effect inside the e-NV200, in addition to making it look much more premium.

The two "Club Class" rear seats have been positioned farther behind the sliding door so VIPs can sit back and relax. Rear legroom has improved by a whopping 26 inches, and the seats have been equipped with integrated seat belts, armrests, and extending leg rests. Even with all the room up front, Nissan claims there's still plenty of room behind the rear seats for luggage. The VIP treatment further includes a 21.5-inch monitor that can play movies or display information from a passenger's smartphone, tablet, or computer, which would come in handy for any last-minute presentations. The center console in between the two rear seats houses controls for the monitor and lights, in addition to a small refrigerator.

The driver of the e-NV200 VIP concept gets to enjoy some tech as well, with Nissan's Smart Rear-View mirror, which debuted at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The Smart Rear-View mirror is housed within the structure of the conventional rear view mirror, with a built-in LCD monitor that can be activated in place of the conventional mirror. Other than that, the e-NV200 VIP concept is just like the regular e-NV200 underneath the hood.
