Porsche is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the 911’s targa top with a new variant (of course). Making its world debut at the 2015 Detroit auto show is the Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS, the latest Porsche to get the GTS treatment, which includes more power.

Specifically, the 3.8-liter flat-six puts out 430 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. It’s fast enough to propel the 911 Targa 4 GTS to 60 mph in an estimated 4.1 seconds when paired with the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox or 4.5 seconds with the seven-speed manual. For comparison, the 400-hp Targa 4S needs 4.4 seconds (PDK) and 4.6 seconds (manual) to run to 60 mph.

Pricing hasn’t been released, but expect to pay about $15,000 more than for the 2015 Targa 4S ($117,195 with manual), the current price difference between the 911 Carrera 4S and the GTS.

Also making its debut at Detroit is the Cayenne Turbo S. Porsche says the SUV will run to 60 mph in an estimated 3.8 seconds. It makes 570 hp and 590 lb-ft from its turbocharged 4.8-liter V-8. Porsche wisely makes composite ceramic brakes (10-piston calipers up front!) standard on the Cayenne Turbo S, along with LED headlights and 21-inch rims.
