Today, Porsche has opened the doors to its brand-new, 27-acre facility located near the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The $100 million Experience Center and headquarters features a driver development track, classic car gallery, restoration center, event space, a fine dining restaurant, and more.

This investment marks the largest made by the company outside of Germany, and will be a destination for automotive enthusiasts and customers alike. Porsche estimates nearly 30,000 people will visit the new building each year, where they can not only refine their driving skills, but also hold various meetings.

"Our vision for our new home was to create a bold and energizing environment here in Atlanta and demonstrate the unique capabilities of our sports cars," said Detlev von Platen, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America, in a statement. "The experience center coupled with our headquarters is truly the first of its kind in the automotive industry where we welcome employees, partners, customers and enthusiast alike."

While the Atlanta quarters may be up and running, the Los Angeles Experience Center is still currently under construction. We previously reported that the building would open in late 2014, noting that the grand opening was pushed back from fall 2013. However, we now expect the new building located in Carson, Calif. to officially open late this year.
