The Porsche Panamera Edition and Edition 4 recently joined the lineup, which means Porsche’s sedan can now be had in 14 different flavors.

The Edition model essentially starts life as a base Panamera and adds a number of features at a relatively good value. Power still comes from a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that makes 310 hp and is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.

The Panamera also gets Porsche Active Suspension Management, bi-xenon headlights, park assist with back up camera, Power Steering Plus, comfort seats, and heated front and rear seats -- these items essentially make up the Premium Package. Pricing for the Panamera Edition is set at $79,895 (including $995 destination), while the all-wheel-drive Panamera Edition 4 costs $83,795. Those prices represent a $1900 and $1500 increase over their respective base models. That said, configuring a base model with the items included in the Edition model would normally cost at least $6000. The Panamera Edition is already live on Porsche’s online configurator and should arrive in the U.S. in June.
