The 2016 Dodge Viper ACR is officially on the market, as the automaker has announced customers can start placing orders for the sports car. As for how much it’ll cost them, the Viper ACR has been priced at $122,490, including $2,100 destination and $2,495 gas guzzler tax.

The ACR was just unveiled last week, featuring new parts such as carbon ceramic Matrix 15.4-inch front rotors with six-piston Brembo calipers as well as high-performance Kumho Ecsta V720 tires (295/25/19 fronts and 355/30/19 rears). Other bits new to the car include an adjustable dual-element carbon fiber rear wing, rear carbon fiber diffuser, removable hood louvers, and detachable front splitter. It will be powered by Dodge’s 8.4-liter V-10 that produces 645 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. If that wasn’t enough to sell the new ACR, perhaps this will: the new ACR’s optional extreme aero package creates 2,000 pounds of downforce at 177 mph. © Provided by MotorTrend

Because the Viper ACR was also developed to be driven off the track, the automaker paid attention to the interior and upgraded its bare-bones look to a swank one, with Alcantara inserts throughout the cabin and wrapped around the steering wheel. © Provided by MotorTrend
