Roll-Royce has had much success launching special and limited edition models in China and it shows no sign of quitting that trend. Set to debut at the Beijing Motor Show is the Rolls-Royce Pinnacle Travel Phantom, which the automaker says features “bespoke design seen through the prism of luxury travel.”

© Provided by MotorTrend It’s the latest creation to come from the automaker’s Bespoke Collection, and was inspired by China’s growing tourism and travel industry. Fans of Portuguese wine will appreciate the Madeira Red paint that is accented by a shade dubbed Silver Sand used on the door panels. Inside, the color scheme switches to Morello Red and Seashell. The Morello Red is used for the opulent lambs wool floor mat, while Smoke Grey thread is used for contrast throughout the interior.

The most notable feature, however, is the wood trim used on the door and dash panels. Rolls-Royce says the panels are crafted from pieces of wood veneer that are laser cut before being arranged by hand.

In all, the Pinnacle Travel Phantom is just as garish and exclusive as past special editions including the Phantom Dragon Edition, which featured intricate embroidery and hand-painted gold dragon accents. The automaker also made a one-off Ghost Golden Sunbird edition and a Celestial Phantom edition, which featured a headliner made to look like a star-filled night sky.
