The Ford Mustang has been a popular platform for modifications since its introduction, and big-name Mustang tuners have been tinkering with the car since at least the 1980s. We’ve already caught a glimpse of the radical body styling from the upcoming Saleen model, but now our cohorts over at Automobile Magazine have details about the packages available from Roush. Set to debut at the 2014 SEMA show, the Roush-tuned 2015 Ford Mustang features body, interior, handling, and powertrain upgrades.

Up front, all Roush 2015 Ford Mustang models feature a more aggressive front fascia with splitter and grille as well as new hood vents and an available hood scoop. With the new front end, the fog lights move to the center air intake. Side scoops have been added aft of the doors, while the rear gets a redesigned rear fascia and deck lid spoiler. While early Roush Mustangs feature side exhausts, the latest version features quad exhaust tips peeking out of the new rear diffuser.

The new body pieces are said to improve aerodynamics. A set of upgraded Brembo brakes peek out from behind the new Roush 20-inch wheels with Cooper RS3 tires. Two types of adjustable coilover shocks are said to be available.

Previous iterations of the Roush Mustang came in Stage 1 (cosmetic) and Stage 2 (handling) kits for V-6 and GT models, and Stage 3 (performance) kits for the GT model only. With the new 2015 Ford Mustang, Roush will offer RS for the V-6 model, RS1 for the Mustang EcoBoost model, RS2 for the GT, and an RS3 version that adds a supercharger to the GT’s 5.0-liter V-8. Supercharged versions could offer more than one power level with as much as 674 hp possible.

Roush is also expected to offer many of the parts al a carte for owners who want to modify their vehicles after initial purchase. More details of the Roush-modified 2015 Ford Mustang are expected to be revealed along with the car at the SEMA show in November.
