Sleeping in cars isn’t a new concept, and usually SUVs or other large vehicles are the automotive accommodations of choice. But for $85, you can spend the night in one man’s Tesla Model S. Phoenix native Steve Sasman has turned his $118,000 Tesla’s trunk into a quaint sleeping area.

According to the ad on Airbnb, a place to find local and unique accommodations for your travel plans, the trunk has been outfitted with a twin airbed with linens, along with remote-controlled candles for added atmosphere.

From the pictures, the sleeping space looks quite tight, and Sasman says in the ad, “Sorry, NO NBA Players allowed. Despite my love for basketball, the Tesla is just too small for anyone over 6’6. Please…stop asking.”

So what are some of the unique features that make squeezing into a Tesla Model S worth it? For starters, since the Model S is all-electric, the air conditioning and heater can run all night without fear of harmful gases. Also, the infotainment system offers Internet music options.

For an extra fee, Sasman will even drive you around town and give you access to certain parts of his home. Since the Model S is his only form of transportation, Sasman would prefer “that you are up by 8 am” in order for him to get to work, but he can be flexible if needed. He’s even willing to let customers “hang out in the Condo and even sleep-in longer on the big comfy couch if you like.”

Would you be willing to spend $85 a night to sleep in the back of a Tesla Model S in an enclosed garage? Check out the original listing here.
