Spied: Lamborghini Aventador SV Caught Without Camo

It’s been quite some time since we last saw a Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce prototype lapping the Nürburgring, and now our spy photographer has caught the upcoming Lamborghini Aventador SV sans camouflage. These spy shots were taken during a video shoot in Europe.

Research

The Lamborghini Aventador SV sports more aggressive front and rear bumpers with larger cooling ducts and vents as well as a large rear wing. Those vents are likely needed for the more powerful engine expected to bow in the SuperVeloce. Where the current Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 ’s 6.5-liter V-12 makes 691 hp at 8250 rpm and 509 lb-ft of torque at 5500 rpm, the SV is rumored to make between 750 and 800 hp.

In addition to improved cooling, the redesigned front and rear fascias and larger rear wing also help improve downforce and grip for the more powerful variant. The Aventador SV also sports a new rear diffuser and quad center-mounted exhaust tips in place of the standard car’s large rectangular outlet. The uncamouflaged car is also sporting SV stickers on the lower part of the quarter panels just ahead of the rear wheel.
