In recent years, it has been a tradition for General Motors to hand out a car to the Most Valuable Player at the Super Bowl. Tom Brady isn't new to the process, having nabbed a Cadillac Escalade ESV after his win in 2004. And this year, Brady said he plans on giving the Chevrolet Colorado he won to game-saving rookie Malcolm Butler.

"I'd love to [give Malcolm the truck]," Brady said on Boston's sports radio station WEEI. "We're going to figure out how to make that happen."

Brady also offered his praise for Butler, who sealed the win for the New England Patriots by making a key interception in the last moments of the game. "That's the type of plays Malcolm makes for our team," Brady said. "A guy like Malcolm who makes that type of quick, instinctive plays, that's one of his strong suits."

We asked people at Chevrolet for comment, and apparently they don't have a problem with the swap.

"We haven’t been contacted by Tom Brady, but we would be plenty pleased if he chose to recognize a clear game-changer in Malcolm Butler by giving him the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado," Chevrolet communications rep Otie McKinley told us.

Along with Brady's glistening red Colorado, the Super Bowl also featured plenty of air-time for the new midsize pickup in its advertisements. If you haven't already, let us know which was your favorite car ad from the Super Bowl.
