Want to drive over 200 mph in an E-Class sedan? Then the folks at Brabus can make your wish come true. The tuner’s latest creation is called the Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo, which puts out an insane 838 hp (850 metric hp) and 1069 lb-ft of torque. Brabus says it’ll run “in excess” of 217 mph and reach 62 from a standstill in an estimated 3.7 seconds for rear-drive models, and 3.1 seconds for the S-Models with 4Matic all-wheel drive. We achieved a 3.4-second 0-60 run in a 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S-Model wagon.

Speaking of which, Brabus first unveiled its 850 6.0 Biturbo treatment in a wagon late last year. The work under the hood is essentially the same for the sedan. For starters, Brabus bored out the cylinders to increase displacement to 5.9 liters, up from the standard 5.5 liters. The tuner then adds custom parts, upgraded turbochargers, and new manifolds. A new ECU and a high-performance exhaust system round out the mechanical modifications.

The body work is typical Brabus. The front end is fitted with a carbon fiber splitter, while the three-pointed star logo makes way for the tuner’s “B” badge. More carbon fiber bits are used for the side view mirror caps, rear diffuser, trunk lid spoiler, rocker panel trim, and engine cover. Customers can choose among a number of rim and wheel combinations. Inside, the Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo features square-patterned finish on the seats and carbon fiber trim pieces. Red ambient light and Brabus badges finish off the relatively tame interior treatment.

Not surprisingly, the Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo earned an F grade on the European Union energy rating that’s based on a scale from A to G.
