TOTD: Luxury Wagon Showdown - V60, C-Class, 328d, or Allroad?

Is the wagon finally making a comeback in America? It sure seems that way with the spat of wagons introduced in recent months. For starters we just spent time with one sexy Swede, the 2015 Volvo T5 E-Drive, while saying goodbye to the handsome and reliable Audi Allroad. We’ll miss the Audi, but we happily just took in a BMW 328d xDrive wagon to see how it holds up for a year-long test. And if that weren’t enough, Mercedes just teased us with the C-Class wagon that isn’t slated for the U.S. That said, which one of these European wagons is your favorite?

With a base price of around $36,000, we think the Volvo wagon is an absolute deal. Our tester’s turbo-four propelled the wagon to 60 mph in just 6.3 seconds, while being fairly fuel efficient. We finished our time in the Audi with an epic road trip, while the BWW’s diesel engine is surprisingly powerful for a four-cylinder. With BMW’s current push to create unconventional variants (3 Series GT, anyone?), the wagon is a breath of fresh air. We knew Mercedes was going to continue making a wagon variant for the new C-Class, but unfortunately they are still barring it from the States. But with enough success from the Volvo, Audi and Wagon, Mercedes just may change its mind.

Assuming it were a perfect world with all wagons available on our shores, which one would you take home? Sound off in the comments below.
