TOTD: What Cars Should've Fallen into a Sinkhole in Place of the Corvettes?

Tragic news struck the automotive world this week when a sinkhole underneath the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky. swallowed eight Chevrolet Corvettes. Victims of the disaster include milestone models such as the millionth Corvette built (a white 1992 model), a Ruby Red 1993 Corvette 40th Anniversary model, and the 1.5 millionth Corvette built (a white 2009 model). Although we don’t wish damage on any historically significant car, we wonder what cars' loss wouldn't be as deeply mourned if they were gobbled up by a sinkhole.

As a nemesis to sports cars, the Toyota Prius is one model mentioned around the office. Other suggestions include the Buick Verano, the current Ford Explorer, Mitsubishi Galant, and Pontiac Aztek. It’s also unlikely many would miss a Tata Nano or any Cadillac Cimarron variant if swallowed by a sinkhole.

The list of vehicles we'd rather see at the bottom of a sinkhole could go on forever, but we want to hear what cars you'd like to see trade places with the 'Vettes in today's Thread of the Day. What cars should've fallen into a sinkhole instead of the eight Corvettes? Share your thought below.
