Earlier this week we asked you guys to tell us what you thought was the most iconic Dodge of the past 100 years. Though Dodge has built quite a few iconic models, from the Dodge Viper, to the Dodge Challenger, to the Dodge Ram, most all commenters agreed that the original Dodge Charger is the most iconic vehicle the automaker has ever created. We're going to continue with that theme for today's Thread of the Day, but instead we're looking at another mainstream American automaker, Chevrolet.

Research

Chevrolet has arguably had just as many, if not more, iconic vehicles than Dodge. Over the past 102 years, Chevy has churned out an unbelievable amount of icons. There are the Tri-Five Chevys, the El Camino, the Camaro, the Suburban (the l ongest-running vehicle nameplate in the world ), and of course the Chevrolet Corvette. With most of those nameplates spanning decades and numerous generations, it's not going to be easy picking the one Chevrolet that stands above all others.

With that in mind, we want to know which Chevy you think is the most iconic model in its history. Is it the 1955 Chevy Bel Air? The split-window 1963 Corvette Stingray? The 1970 Chevelle SS 454? The Camaro IROC-Z ? Sound off in the comments below with your choice for the most iconic Chevrolet of all time.
