Motor Trend logo Motor Trend 5/5/2014 Christian Seabaugh

Today was a big day for us as far as horsepower is concerned. Not only did our McLaren P1 episode of Ignition hit YouTube today, but our homepage featured also featured a track drive of the Pagani Huayra, and our First Test of the P1's hypercar rival – the Porsche 918 Spyder. To top off our big horsepower day, we also gathered up a list of all the super and hypercars currently for sale that produce over 700 horsepower.

With all that in mind, we'd like to know what your favorite 700-plus-horsepower supercar is for today's Thread of the Day. The cars that produce more than 700-hp do so in a variety of ways; some have big naturally aspirated V-12s, others small-displacement turbocharged V-8s, while even more have hybrid drivetrains.
