Ford has developed several vehicles that have inspired generations of car fans and pushed the market in new directions, and although there are several examples of these types of blue-oval badged cars, we were able to narrow it down to just a few in a recent post naming the15 Cars that shaped Ford. Of course, the first one on our list was the 1908 Model T, which was essentially the first car attainable for the masses. The 1955 Ford Thunderbird also found a spot on the list, as well as the 1965 Mustang, which came as no surprise since it still continues to be an automotive icon today. Others on the list include the Ford Bronco, the Boss 302, and the 1986 Taurus. We also didn't forget the Ford Explorer, which basically started the SUV craze in the early 2000s, and also the F-150 pickup which continues to be a perennial best-seller in the U.S. year after year. 2011 Ford F 150 Front Three Quarter© Provided by MotorTrend 2011 Ford F 150 Front Three Quarter
