It's a new year, which means it's time to start fresh and do away with the old. While we've seen some very interesting styling elements introduced on cars over the years, we want to know which items you’d like to see go away in 2014.

In the original forum created by 11Chyrsler300kidd, some people suggested plastic hubcaps should be a thing of the past, and that automakers should step up and make alloy wheels standard. Other readers would like to see automakers get rid of fake rear diffusers, fake carbon fiber accents, fake wood trim, and high beltlines (the Ford Taurus was just one example mentioned in the thread). One reader even suggested doing away with LED daytime running lights because several cars have them now. So, which styling elements would you like to see vanish in 2014? Let us know in the comments below for today's TOTD!
