While all new cars come with various stability control systems, many automakers allow these electronic nannies to be fully switched off. There are, however, some automakers that only reduce the system’s intervention. The upcoming 2015 Volkswagen Golf R will finally have a fully defeatable stability control system, and that should please enthusiasts that want to take the car to a track. In today's Thread of the Day, we want to know if you would ever buy a car that didn't allow you to turn off the electronic nannies.

In more than one instance, we have criticized the Volkswagen GTI and Golf R models for their undefeatable stability control systems -- especially the Golf R with its racing-derived pretense. So, would you ever buy a car with undefeatable stability control? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
