Where else would you introduce an off-road Transit desert race van or a lowered Expedition with 24-inch orange wheels? If you couldn't guess, a number of special-edition Ford Transit vans and Expedition SUVs are making their way to the 2014 SEMA show in Las Vegas next week.

A total of five Transit vans have each undergone unique makeovers. First off is the VORE Vegas Off-Road Experience Transit, which features bold graphics, color LED light bars, and off-road wheels and tires. But when you look inside the vehicle, you may end up cancelling whatever adventure you had planned. A video game station, large flat-screen TV, touchscreen tablets, and five LED flat screens complete the interior.

The Formula DRIFT Transit features a similar exterior design and performance theme. This Transit, which will be a support vehicle for track events, features a sporty suspension, air intake kit, and special exhaust system as well as a fire suit and helmet racks.

Other special-edition Transit models are highly refined. The bright red Designed Travel Transit from 3dCarbon features a fold-down sofa, high-def TV, and other creature comforts. Meanwhile, the Business Class Transit features a completely black exterior and almost had us fooled for a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Inside, you'll find a cocktail station, heated and massaging seats, Wi-Fi, and more flat-screen TVs. But perhaps it is the Galpin Auto Sports Transit Skyliner that takes the cake with its 52-inch retractable movie screen and custom "throne" seats controlled by a smartphone or tablet.

Along with the special Transit models, expect to see three modified Expeditions on the SEMA show floor. Each one is based off the refreshed 2015 model and is equipped with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6. The Tjin Edition Expedition features a new liftgate and custom gray paint job with 24-inch custom Rotiform wheels. Through a variety of upgrades, this special Expedition comes with an improved 405 hp. The Ford Expedition by DUB Magazine showcases huge 26-inch blue wheels that match the body of the SUV. Everything from the front grille to the lighting has been changed on this model, and tinted windows provide extra privacy. A suspension kit lowers the vehicle, and high-performance brakes add to its performance capabilities.

The final Expedition debuting for SEMA specializes in winter driving. The Expedition XLT Vaccar receives two-tone matte mountain gray exterior paint, a Vaccar Grill Guardian brush guard bull bar, swivel hooks, a hitch stop, string steps, and a large cargo basket for the roof. A set of 20-inch M15 wheels and General Tire Grabber AT2 tires finishes off the look.
